I agree with you Frank. The point about two component mixtures is however that the mixture is hard in the center of the tire, i.e. when you´re going straight ahead, there is not much grip, but the tire will last. In turns, when you do need alot of grip, the rubber is soft. As you`re going straight ahead most of the time, a soft mixture on the entire tire is just a waste of material.
I am trying those Bridgestones on my Honda, but cannot say anything about it as I have only done a couple of hundred kilometres with these.
